Job summary

Trilogy Health Services is seeking a Travel Qualified Medication Aide to support short- and long-term assignments across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky. The role administers medications as directed by a physician, nurse supervisor, and DON, while assisting residents with daily living activities.

Travel-ready QMA must hold state certification, CNA in good standing, and a valid driver’s license; a few years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified QMA or CMA by the state and CNA certification in good standing.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, administer, and record prescribed medications under licensed nurse supervision.
• Apply the five rights of medication administration within the scope of your role.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Label, store, receive and destroy medications per company policy.
• Perform medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This Travel Qualified Medication Aide role supports short- and long-term assignments across Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky, requiring adaptability while maintaining consistent standards of care. Travel Qualified Medication Aides assists with administering medications to residents as directed by the physician, nurse supervisor, and Director of Nursing (DON). Additionally, this role assists residents with activities of daily living.

Key Responsibilities

• The Qualified (Certified) Medication Aide sets up, administers, and records certain prescribed medications for residents in the facility under the supervision of a licensed nurse and as allowed by State regulatory agencies.
• Practice the five rights of medication administration within the scope of your role.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
• Properly label, store, receive and destroy medication per company policy.
• Perform medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• Certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) by the state and maintain a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification in good standing with the state.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred Benefits
