Job summary

Belvedere Senior Housing in Merrillville, IN is hiring a Full-Time QMA to deliver exceptional, individualized care to residents. The role operates on the 1st shift with an hourly pay range of $20.75–$21.00 and includes competitive benefits.

Responsibilities include following each resident’s care plan, reporting health changes to the clinical team, and engaging with residents and families with compassion and dignity. A High School diploma or GED and Indiana QMA certification are required.

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
• Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
• Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• Must hold certification indicating successful completion of Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) program in the State of Indiana
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
