Aperion Care is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to provide essential resident care under the direction of nursing and medical staff. This scheduling role ensures appropriate nursing staff coverage and supports central supply ordering for the facility.
The QMA administers medications per physician orders, records vital signs, and maintains compliance with policies and regulations, including HIPAA. A valid QMA certificate and prior long-term care experience are preferred.
SUMMARY: The primary responsibility of the Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) is to provide care for the residents under the direction of the nursing and medical staff. Scheduling position is responsible for ensuring appropriate nursing staff for the facility. Central Supply is responsible for ordering nursing supplies.
