Job summary

Heritage Pointe is seeking a dedicated staff member to deliver routine medications and support patient care. You will work with nurses, follow medication instructions, and document dosages and patient changes. CPR and QMA licensure are required, with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be licensed by the state of Indiana (QMA).
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine daily medications to patients as prescribed.
• Coordinate with nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow written or verbal instructions on medication management.
• Record medication dosages and times accurately.
• Observe patients and document changes in their condition.
• Gather samples for analysis as needed.
• Ensure equipment is inspected and cleaned regularly.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
• Respond to emergency signals and identify patient needs.

• Coordinate with different nurses to assist with patient care and medications.
• Follow written or verbal instructions on how to manage medications.
• Record medication dosages and times.
• Observe patients and document changes in their condition.
• Gather samples for analysis.
• Ensure equipment is routinely inspected and cleaned.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.
• Respond to patient emergency call signals, bells, or intercom systems to identify patient needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or relevant qualification.
• Must be licensed by the state of Indiana
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
