Job summary

Heritage Village Assisted Living and Memory Care is looking for a Qualified Medication Aide to join our dedicated team in Carmel, Indiana. You will assist residents with medication administration and provide high-quality personal care, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED, have a QMA license in Indiana, and ideally possess experience in assisted living or health care settings. We offer shifts during the day and night, with wages starting at $21/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Valid QMA license in Indiana is mandatory.
• Experience working as a CNA, PCA, HHA, or RA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication administration per their Care Plan.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and vital sign checks.
• Assist residents during mealtimes to encourage eating.

We are currently seeking an outstanding Qualified Medication Aide to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents as assigned with a high quality of medication administration assistance per individual Care Plan / ISP as directed by physician orders.
• Assist all residents/clients with a high quality of personal care, including but not limited to; bathing, dressing, grooming, shaving, incontinent care, foot care, vital signs, height and weight checks per policy.
• Assist residents with mealtime. Cut food. Encourage to eat.
• Follow through with all assignments on a timely basis in accordance to chain of command.
• Report to Director of Health Services and/or LPN-LVN-Care Partner all unusual behavior of resident (changing of status) or refusal of medications.
• Provide emergency care within scope of practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• QMA license (IN) required
• One (1) year experience working as a CNA/PCA/HHA/RA preferred
• One (1) year experience working in Assisted Living or Health Care preferred

Shift Times & Pay

Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm

Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am

Wages start at $21/hr
