Job Summary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Quality Assurance professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, quality assurance methodologies, and a track record of ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. As a Senior QA, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing testing activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior QA team members.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality and functionality.
2. Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure product stability.
3. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure clear communication throughout the testing process.
4. Identify, document, and prioritize defects using issue tracking systems, and work with development teams to address and resolve issues.
5. Lead and guide the QA team in designing testing strategies, test cases, and testing methodologies.
6. Mentor and train junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
7. Collaborate in the continuous improvement of QA processes and practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
8. Participate in requirement analysis, design reviews, and provide feedback to ensure testability and product quality.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and new testing tools and techniques.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 5 plus years of proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual and automated testing.
3. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management.
4. Proficiency in using testing tools, issue tracking systems, and test management software.
5. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
8. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
9. Leadership skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
10. Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are a plus.
