Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking an experienced QNX/Android Software Developer to join its embedded systems team in Oregon. You will design and implement platform software, middleware, device drivers, and multimedia components for QNX/Linux/Android Automotive on Snapdragon platforms.

Responsibilities include bring-up, driver development, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and applying AI-assisted tooling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience as a QNX/Android software developer in embedded systems.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with Linux internals and device drivers.
• Familiarity with Android Automotive and Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.

• Develop and integrate software across QNX, Linux, and Android Automotive platforms.
• Build platform services, middleware, native/framework components, and embedded applications using C/C++.
• Develop Linux device drivers and hardware interfaces.
• Perform Qualcomm Snapdragon platform bring-up and integration; 8295 experience preferred.
• Develop and support multimedia applications and platform components.
• Debug, optimize, and resolve issues across software and hardware layers.
• Work with QNX Hypervisor, virtualization, Docker, and CI/CD environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, automation, validation, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Participate in design/code reviews and release activities.
• Leverage AI-assisted software development tools where applicable.
