ReNew Life Recovery Services in Danville, Virginia is seeking a compassionate QMHP-C to join our behavioral health team serving children, adolescents, and families. You will provide direct services, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with therapists and schools to support youths’ emotional and behavioral progress.

Join a multidisciplinary team delivering person-centered care, crisis support, and ongoing coordination across home, school, and community settings.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia QMHP-C registration or qualification for the position
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a qualifying human services or behavioral health field
• 1–3 years of behavioral health experience preferred
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and/or families
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to build professional and supportive relationships with youth and caregivers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team
• Reliable transportation when community-based services are required

Responsibilities

• Provide skill-building, supportive interventions, and behavioral health services within your scope of practice
• Work directly with children and adolescents to strengthen coping, communication, emotional regulation, and daily functioning
• Help clients and families work toward individualized treatment and service goals
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized service plans
• Monitor client progress and document services accurately and on time
• Provide care coordination, advocacy, linkage, and community resource support
• Engage parents, guardians, and caregivers when clinically appropriate
• Collaborate with therapists, psychiatric providers, case managers, peer specialists, schools, and other treatment team members
• Participate in treatment-team meetings and case consultations
• Assist with crisis prevention and appropriate escalation when safety concerns arise
• Support continuity of care across home, school, community, and treatment settings
• Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and high standards of client care
• Follow applicable VA DBHDS, DMAS, organizational, and CARF requirements
