Job summary

A current Med Tech or QMAP certification and CPR by hire are required, with high school diploma and preferred one year in senior services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Current Med Tech or QMAP certification; certification must remain current.
• CPR certification required at hire or within 90 days; must remain current.
• One year of experience in senior services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures for medication administration, ordering, and delivery.
• Immediately report medication errors or missing medications.
• Provide quality care to residents according to the care plan.
• Promote resident independence per service plan.
• Comply with all infection control guidelines.
• Ensure proper transfer of medication cart between shifts, including narcotic count.
• Document medication administration in the EHR per policy.
• Participate in community activities and encourage resident participation.
• Demonstrate patience, compassion, and integrity with residents.
