Job summary

A leading healthcare recruitment firm in Long Beach, CA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to manage quality improvement initiatives and risk adjustment activities. This role involves developing and coordinating HEDIS studies while requiring strong clinical expertise, specific qualifications in healthcare, and excellent communication skills. Competitive compensation between $33 and $38 per hour is offered based on experience, with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years clinical experience required.
• 2+ years experience with NCQA, HEDIS or QA/QI is needed.
• Experience in Medical Record Retrieval and Review.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate quality improvement projects for HEDIS studies.
• Monitor and evaluate quality of healthcare services provided.
• Present findings to medical director.

Job Description

Risk Adjustment. Responsible for developing, organizing, collecting, coordinating, preparing and presenting results of quality improvement- HEDIS studies and projects activities to monitor, evaluate and continuously improve the quality of healthcare services provided to members.

Qualifications

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Compensation: $33-$38, salary based on experience

Qualifications:

• MS applications knowledge (spreadsheets)
• Active CA RN license
• 3+ years clinical experience
• 2+ years’ experience with NCQA, HEDIS or QA/QI
• BA in Public Health or related field

• Professional writing and verbal abilities as summaries and presentations of findings to medical director are required.
