Job summary

Hollis Creek is seeking a QHSE Technician to support Primoris Services Corporation in maintaining and improving QHSE standards on projects. You will implement programs, conduct inspections, investigate incidents, provide training, and monitor performance metrics across sites.

The role requires 2+ years in QHSE, knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations, and strong communication skills. Travel to various project sites and a valid driver's license are expected.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a QHSE role, preferably in construction, engineering, or energy.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations.
  • Strong understanding of QHSE management systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to conduct effective training sessions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, CHST are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in development, implementation, and maintenance of QHSE policies and programs.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with QHSE regulations and company standards.
  • Investigate incidents and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions.
  • Provide QHSE training and awareness sessions.
  • Monitor QHSE performance metrics and prepare management reports.
  • Ensure permits and licenses are obtained and maintained for projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate QHSE considerations.
  • Maintain accurate QHSE documentation and records.
  • Stay informed of QHSE legislation and industry best practices.
  • Respond to and manage emergencies per procedures.
