Job Summary This position, under the close supervision of a manager or in collaboration with a senior-level Chemist, is responsible for performing laboratory tests designed to evaluate the quality and consistency of finished products, intermediates, and raw materials, as well as the condition and continued usability of used fluids obtained from customer processes. The role supports the quality program by validating the integrity of incoming and outgoing goods and services.

Position Summary: Quality Control Technician will be under close supervision of the manager/supervisor and responsible for performing laboratory tests that have been designed to evaluate the quality and consistency of finished products, intermediates and raw materials and/or the disposition and continued utility of used fluids obtained from customer processes. The position conforms to the quality program and validating the quality of incoming and outgoing goods or services.
B.S. in Chemistry or related science preferred. Entry level position 0-2 year’s experience. Must possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment, to work at different projects at the same time, and to think analytically. Good prioritization and communication skills (oral and writing).
Works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The associate is exposed to moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock and trip and slip hazards. The noise level in the manufacturing environment is loud.
May be required to lift up to 50 pounds. May be required to stand for long periods and walk great distances daily. Routinely required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. May be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. May be required to work in small spaces and high locations.
