The Polykon Manufacturing site, opened in 2020 near Richmond, Virginia, USA, specializes in producing ingredients for cosmetic and pharmaceutical products. It enhances our proximity to North American customers and increases our manufacturing capabilities worldwide. The plant incorporates high standards of manufacturing quality, GMP practices, and environmental sustainability measures, including recycling and waste minimization. It has obtained ISO 9001:2015, EFfCI, and RSPO certifications.

This position will work 2nd shift hours 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Responsibilities:

1. Perform standard analytical methods to analyze raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
2. Sample raw materials or finished products.
3. Report analytical results.
4. Ensure periodic tests on equipment, including calibration, verification, and maintenance.
5. Procure laboratory consumables and manage inventory.
6. Store product samples and lab reagents properly.
7. Adhere strictly to cGMP, documentation, and laboratory practices.
8. Manage documentation through physical and electronic means.
9. Provide quality-related training for employees.
10. Maintain a clean and organized laboratory and work area.
11. Assist in quality investigations, including OOS, incidents, CAPAs, batch recalls, etc.

• Proficient with digital platforms for record-keeping and traceability.
• Experience with laboratory equipment: HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, Colorimeter, FTIR, pH meters, etc.
• Critical thinking skills: analyzing results, troubleshooting, problem-solving.
• Quality assurance experience preferred.
• Autonomous and able to work independently and in teams.
• Rigorous with raw data analysis.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred.
