Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a QC Technician to join our team at our North Carolina facilities. The role focuses on ensuring products meet Pepsi Cola North America specifications, operating blending equipment, and performing quality tests on beverages and ingredients.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic math and computer skills, and a chemistry background is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are

QC Technician Role Overview

Ensures that all products produced meet Pepsi Cola North America specifications.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Performs micro blend operation.
• Operates, monitors, and makes adjustments on the blending equipment to assure product quality.
• Tests finished products, packages, water, syrup, and high-fructose corn syrup.
• Monitors production lines for beverage quality.
• Calibrates equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school or equivalent and one (1) year production or technical experience required.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.
• Background in chemistry preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills required.
• Good organizational skills required.
• Must be able to think analytical.
• Good hand eye coordination required.
• Must be self motivated with strong initiative.
• Must be able to learn and follow establish procedures without deviation.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
