Job summary

StikPak Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to monitor and advance our safety and quality programs. You will perform daily checks to ensure HACCP, GMPs, and SOP compliance across production, packaging, sanitation, and warehousing.

In this role you calibrate test equipment, coordinate external lab submittals, and maintain accurate QA records and retained sample inventories. You will support training and help prepare for third-party audits while upholding regulatory standards.

High Level Statement of the Role

Food safety and quality are the highest priorities of our organization. The Quality Assurance Technician (QA Tech) will be responsible for the monitoring and assisting in the advancement of our safety and quality programs. This position will process daily checks to ensure compliance with HACCP principals, GMP’s, and SOP’s.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Perform process checks throughout the production, packaging, sanitation, and warehousing functions of the company, including pre-operational checks, sanitation verification and in process verification activities
• Calibrate test equipment.
• Schedule and execute sample submittals to external laboratory vendor.
• Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies, and effectively communicating when there are deviations from standards or processes.
• Assist in training employees on food safety, company processes and GMP’s.
• Maintain accurate and organized record of QA activities.
• Maintain organized inventory of retained products (samples).
• Monitor HACCP critical control points.
• Participate in preparation for 3rd party safety audits.
• Maintain ongoing company compliance with all applicable regulations and 3rd party auditor requirements.
• Conduct research on Quality Assurance issues and deliver reports on research to management.
• Recommend, champion and execute program enhancements.
