Ondrick Materials & Recycling, LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Quality Control Technician to perform routine lab tests on asphalt mixes and document results for quality assurance. The role demands strong math and computer skills, and the ability to work independently within a team to ensure material quality and production efficiency.

The candidate should be self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency, reliable attendance, and compliance with OSHA PPE guidelines.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to pursue NETTCP Certification with company support.
• Previous QC experience in the asphalt industry is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Basic reading and comprehension of math concepts.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office/Excel.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine lab tests of hot mix asphalt, cold mix asphalt, sand, and gravel per specs.
• Accurately complete testing with minimal variability and diagnose production deficiencies.
• Familiarize with lab equipment and its operation.
• Understand asphalt plant terminology and components and their impact on the mix.
• Proficiently document and file daily test reports for external parties.
• Maintain communication with managers about test results and issues.
• Maintain workflow to meet production and project needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned in a timely, efficient manner.
• Wear PPE as designated by OSHA.

6. Maintaincommunicationwithmanagersandsupervisorsregardingtestresultsandanyissuesthatmayaffectmaterialqualityandoutput
