Job summary

PAFCO is seeking a QA/QC professional to monitor production processes and finished products, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and company standards. You will inspect raw materials, production lines, and finished goods, document HACCP and sanitation activities, and support internal audits and continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires experience in quality control within food manufacturing or seafood processing, strong documentation skills, and the ability to communicate

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control, food manufacturing, or seafood processing preferred.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, sanitation, and food-safety practices.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, production lines, and finished products for quality and specification compliance.
• Monitor and document HACCP, GMP, SOP, and sanitation requirements.
• Perform pre-operational inspections, ATP/environmental swabbing, and temperature checks.
• Identify quality or food-safety deviations and communicate issues to QA/QC and production teams.
• Complete QC records, corrective actions, calibration checks, and traceability documentation.
• Assist with internal audits, inspections, mock recalls, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant production environment.
