Job summary

SGS Consulting seeks a laboratory professional to perform routine testing under GMP/GLP practices and to analyze data against protocol specifications. The role includes maintaining inventories of QC materials and ensuring lab and equipment cleanliness and calibration. Documentation and data management are essential.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in an industrial lab, strong computer skills, and familiarity with ERP/LIMS/QSR systems. Bachelor’s in a science field is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of industrial lab experience (QC preferred).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Familiar with GMP/GLP regulatory standards.
• Experience with ERP, LIMS, or QSR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing following GMP/GLP practices.
• Analyze data and interpret results against specifications and alert limits.
• Maintain inventories of products and QC materials.
• Keep laboratory and equipment clean; calibrate items as needed.
• Document investigations for invalid assays or out-of-spec results.
• Prepare and store data files and manage documents in the DMS.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs routine testing using GMP/GLP practices.
• Performs data analysis and results interpretations comparing to protocol-defined specifications, validity criteria, and alert limits.
• Responsible for maintaining product and QC material inventories.
• Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of the laboratory, stocking shelves/drawers with testing materials.
• Responsible for the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment, calibrating, or submitting items for calibration as needed.
• Responsible for completing training in a timely manner and maintaining the records.
• Participates in Laboratory Investigations for Invalid assays and Out-of-Specifications results.
• Prepares documents for storage in our document management system and manages original data files.

Skills:

• 1 to 2 years of industrial lab experience (preferably QC)
• Intermediate computer skills (i.e., Microsoft programs)
• Working knowledge of industry/regulatory standards and GMP/GLP requirements
• Preferred working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), LIMS, and/or QSR

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field
