Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a QC Sample Handler to manage test samples through the lifecycle, maintain inventory and support distribution to functional groups. You will help ensure proper labeling and chain-of-custody records and contribute to safe, compliant lab operations.

The role requires a 12-hour rotating shift from 6 AM to 6 PM, with every other weekend and holiday work, plus occasional overtime. Strong organization and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher; or high school diploma with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of basic electronic systems (email, MS Office) required.
  • Ability to understand and follow written procedures precisely.

Responsibilities

  • Handle test samples through receipt, storage, distribution, transfer and disposal.
  • Maintain sample tracking, labeling and chain of custody records.
  • Support QC sample/material distribution and record performance metrics.
  • Follow lab safety procedures and perform duties in a fast-paced team environment.
