Job summary

ACL Digital in Frederick, MD is seeking a QC Microbiology Technician to join our Quality Control team in a new cell therapy production center. This role focuses on microbiological testing of clinical and commercial products, including environmental monitoring and data review of test results.

The position requires 1+ years in Microbiology or 2+ years with HS, and offers day shifts Sun-Wed 7am–6pm with pay between $20 and $22 per hour on a W2 basis.

Qualifications

• AA Degree and 1+ years’ experience in Microbiology lab/ Environmental Monitoring.
• HS Degree and 2+ years’ experience in Microbiology lab/ Environmental Monitoring.
• Experience with environmental monitoring and routine lab maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring of cleanrooms
• Collect water samples and test on schedule
• Perform and review microbiological assays such as Gram Stain, Endotoxin, Sterility, Microbial Identification, Growth Promotion, Bioburden and Plate Reading
• Review final product release test results
• Assist investigations and deviations related to micro procedures
• Maintain lab equipment and spaces
