Job summary

Planet Pharma in Memphis, TN seeks a Quality Control Analyst I for the QC Microbiology Department. Schedule: Sun-Thu 2pm-11pm. You will perform environmental monitoring, raw material testing, and product-release testing with careful data integrity.

Requires a biology degree and 0-2 years lab experience, GMP familiarity, and strong written/verbal communication. You will use microbiology instrumentation and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or relevant scientific discipline.
• 0–2 years of lab experience in GMP or FDA-regulated environment preferred.
• Internship program possible for lesser education/experience.
• Clean Room gowning required and ability to work in clean room.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of microbiology and aseptic techniques.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform environmental monitoring (air, surface, and personnel).
• Handle raw materials and inventory for QC lab, maintaining supplies.
• Follow SOPs and gDOC practices to ensure data integrity.
• Support department operations, logs, and documentation.
• Assist with routine lab upkeep and organization.
• Utilize GMP systems (MODA and related software).
• Review peers' test results and ensure timely release documentation.
• Comply with cGMP guidelines and training requirements.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
