Job summary

Quva is seeking a Microbiologist I for the Bloomsbury, NJ site. This full-time first shift role involves hands-on QC microbiology work, including sterility and endotoxin testing, under cGMP guidelines. You will interpret results and provide guidance to QC and production management.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in biology and 0–2 years of experience, with a strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures. Benefits include health coverage, 401k, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology or related field is required.
• 0–2 years of QC microbiology experience.
• Willing to perform aseptic manipulations and operate in a sterile environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets results of microbiology tests (sterility, endotoxin, growth promotion, identification).
• Performs sterility testing using rapid technology and endotoxin testing with endpoint fluorescence assay.
• Maintains gown qualification and supports daily cleanroom operations.
• Documents morphology of microorganisms and streaks isolates for identification.
• Assists with training and supports management to resolve issues promptly.
