Job summary

Grifols Shared Services North America, Inc is seeking a Microbiologist 1 to perform various microbiological tests and ensure compliance with FDA regulations. Responsibilities include testing raw materials and environmental samples, as well as maintaining microbial cultures.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a closely related field and possesses strong analytical skills. This role offers a competitive pay scale of $28.50 - $30.00 per hour, alongside benefits such as medical, dental, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or FDA regulated environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of microbiology, aseptic techniques, and statistical analysis is necessary.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological and endotoxin testing on samples.
• Isolate and maintain pure microbial cultures.
• Compile and enter data into LIMS for reporting.
• Review test results and adhere to FDA regulations.
