Job summary

Randstad USA in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead analytical testing operations in a GMP biologics environment. This onsite role drives analytical excellence, oversees method transfers, and mentors a high‑performing QC team developing cutting‑edge therapeutics.

The position requires 5–7 years in quality control within FDA‑regulated biopharma, multi‑assay portfolio experience, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively responsible experience in Quality Control within an FDA-regulated CDMO or biopharmaceutical environment.
• Proven experience managing multi-product portfolios across 8-10+ distinct assays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QC Analysts and Scientists performing analytical testing for biologics, vaccines, and cell/gene therapies.
• Provide technical oversight for analytical methods including HPLC/UPLC, bioassays, plate-based assays, CE, qPCR, and spectroscopy.
• Lead OOS, OOT, and atypical investigations, executing root cause analysis and robust CAPAs to ensure GMP compliance.
• Serve as the QC Analytical Subject Matter Expert during regulatory inspections, client meetings, and audits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, Manufacturing, and Tech Ops to optimize laboratory performance and data integrity.
