Job summary

JMJ PHILLIP in Dallas is seeking a QC Manager to lead quality control initiatives, develop and maintain quality systems, oversee inspections, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in quality leadership, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to partner with suppliers and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or related leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles and inspection methodologies.
  • Experience leading quality teams within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality-related reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Implement process improvements to reduce defects, improve consistency, and increase efficiency.
  • Partner with operational teams to drive quality-focused improvements throughout the organization.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop quality control personnel.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, quality awareness, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support professional development initiatives.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits as required.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations.
  • Maintain documentation and records supporting quality compliance.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to address quality concerns and improve performance.
  • Respond to customer quality issues and coordinate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Monitor supplier quality metrics and participate in supplier evaluations.
  • Analyze quality trends, defect rates, and performance indicators.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to management.
  • Utilize data to drive decision-making and quality improvements.

Position Responsibilities

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
