Job summary

Guerbet in Raleigh, NC seeks a QC Laboratory Coordinator to support GMP chemistry and microbiology labs. You will manage sample logistics,documentation, and supplies while ensuring chain of custody from receipt to testing and storage.

You will collaborate with QC, Manufacturing, Warehouse, and QA teams to keep operations compliant and inspection-ready. Strong GDP/GMP knowledge and LIMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a scientific discipline required.
• 2+ years in GMP pharma/biotech/medical device.
• Experience with lab sample management or documentation control.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, log samples per GDP/GMP.
• Verify integrity, labeling, and documents; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain traceability and chain of custody throughout lifecycle.
• Prioritize and route samples to chemistry/microbiology labs.
• Ensure proper storage conditions and location traceability.
• Manage stability and reserve samples and tracking.
• Maintain and organize laboratory SOPs, forms, logs.
• Ensure controlled documents are current and accessible.
• Support filing, distribution and archiving per GDP.
• Monitor inventory of consumables and reagents.
• Coordinate ordering and storage to prevent interruptions.
• Track stock levels and communicate potential shortages.
• Communicate sample status to teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain tracking tools for turnaround time and workflow visibility.
• Coordinate with QC, Manufacturing, Warehouse, QA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
