Job summary

Leading flavor manufacturer in Branchburg, NJ is hiring a QC Lab Technician to join the team. The role operates on-site, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a pay range of $26–$30 per hour depending on experience.

You will perform analyses of finished products, intermediates, and raw materials to ensure quality and food safety using AOAC and other approved methods. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a science-related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
• 2+ years of relevant QC experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze finished products, intermediates, and raw materials against specifications.
• Calibrate and operate QC testing instrumentation safely and professionally.
• Notify supervisor of unusual observations, OOS Incidents, and results to prevent release of non-conforming material.
• Maintain sample retention inventory and ensure proper documentation accompanies shipments.
• Maintain an orderly, safe work area and compliance with SOPs, SQF, cGMP, HACCP, and FSMA.

QC Lab Technician

Location: Branchburg, NJ

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:30AM - 4PM On Site

Pay Range: $26-$30 per hour DOE

Leading flavor manufacturer located in Branchburg, NJ is in need of a QC Lab Tech to join the team.

Duties:

• Perform analysis of finished products, intermediates and raw materials to check characteristics against specifications,
• utilizing AOAC and other approved methods to assure product quality and food safety.
• Calibrate and operate QC testing instrumentation in a safe and professional manner
• Notify QC Supervisor of unusual product observations, OOS Incidents, and analytical results during analysis to assure
• potential quality and food safety issues are identified, reviewed, and resolved prior to releasing product
• Maintain sample retention inventory according to procedures.
• Ensure all appropriate paperwork accompanies shipments of raw materials
• Maintain an orderly and safe work area
• Maintain retrievable and traceable system of quality documentation
• Comply with SOP’s, SQF guidelines, cGMP’s HACCP, and FSMA procedures
• Participate in conducting monthly regulatory inspections and other required tasks.
