Job summary

Lonza Houston is seeking a QC Laboratory Support Associate to help manage QC samples, materials, and documentation in a GMP-regulated environment. You will receive, store, track, and inventory samples across manufacturing and stability programs, supporting manufacturing and testing activities with accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; relevant experience considered.
• 0-4 years in laboratory support, materials management, or related roles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a GMP environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, transfer, store, maintain, and inventory QC samples and materials.
• Support laboratory operations, housekeeping, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
• Attend meetings and provide sample status updates for manufacturing and testing.
• Maintain records and ensure GMP documentation compliance.
• Assist with QC Shared Services including sample management and LIMS support.
• Identify issues and escalate to leadership as needed.
• Collaborate with QC, QA, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Contribute to process improvements in laboratory and sample management.
