Job summary

Orthofix Holdings, Inc. is seeking a quality-focused inspector for a temporary-to-hire assignment in Lewisville, TX. The role involves performing dimensional inspections, selecting measurement equipment based on tolerances, and assuring compliance with GD&T and drawing specifications.

You will document results, troubleshoot issues, and support manufacturing with inspection programs. The position offers a six-month initial assignment with potential to transition to full-time.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of inspection experience in a regulated industry or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, comparators, automated vision systems.
• GD&T principles knowledge and application.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and inspection specifications.
• Ability to operate inspection equipment and document results.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of inspection experience in a regulated industry or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience and proficiency with measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, comparators, and automated vision systems.
• Advanced dimensional inspection capabilities, including the ability to independently perform inspections and select appropriate measurement equipment based on specified tolerances.
• Advanced knowledge and application of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and inspection specifications.
• Ability to properly handle and operate inspection equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex inspection and measurement issues and provide technical guidance and support to others.
• Experience writing and developing inspection programs.
• Ability to follow work instructions and inspection procedures accurately.
• Ability to accurately document inspection results and communicate findings.
• Strong attention to detail, independence, confidence, and sound technical judgment.
• Demonstrated ability to perform visual and cosmetic inspections.
