Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Houston, TX is seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector for precision grinding. You will perform quality inspections on precision-ground components, read blueprints, and operate advanced measuring tools to ensure parts meet exact specifications.

You will conduct First Article Inspections, implement and sustain SOPs, participate in root-cause analysis using the 5 Why method, and document findings in the ERP system while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality inspection, preferably in precision grinding.
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices.
• Experience with advanced inspection tools and NDT techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and specs.
• Knowledge of tolerance analysis and precision measurement.
• Proficient with ERP software for documentation and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough QC inspections of precision-ground components to verify conformance.
• Operate calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges and hardness testers.
• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and maintain SOPs.
• Lead root cause analysis using 5 Why to resolve quality issues.
• Maintain inspection records in the ERP system and support continuous improvement.
