Job summary

LEONARDO HELICOPTERS US CORPORATION in Milton, FL is seeking a QC Inspector to ensure airworthiness and conformance during modifications, installations, and overhauls. You will inspect aircraft, assemblies, and parts, interpret drawings and regulatory data, and review data for major alterations to support FAA approvals.

The role requires hands-on turbine helicopter experience, an A&P license, and the ability to coordinate with FAA and internal teams to drive compliance and quality throughout the

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on quality control inspector on turbine helicopters in a Part 145 Repair Station environment.
• 5 years hands-on turbine helicopter maintenance experience.
• Agusta A109/A119/AW139 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs inspection of aircraft, or parts during modifications, installation, or overhaul to determine airworthiness, safety or conformance to approved data and Company standards and requirements.
• Return aircraft and aircraft parts to service.
• Interprets and checks prints, engineering changes orders and regulatory procedures.
• Reviews data for major alterations and FAA form 337 and submits to FAA for field approvals.
• Review of completed work orders.
• Airworthiness Directive research.
• Interface with FAA.
• Team Lead when travel events occur.
• Liase with company Technical Representatives and Customer Support Manager on all quality matters.
• Performs data collection and conformity inspections during a STC project.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience

Technical knowledge in the fields of mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, sheet metal, rigging, instruments, test flights, etc. to determine and sign off safety, airworthiness, or conformance.

• Must be pro-active and team and detail oriented.
• Must have good working knowledge of FAR Part 145 and related areas.
• Must possess experience in Microsoft Office suite.

Licensure/Certification

A&P license a must, and IA license is a plus
