Job summary

ATR in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to inspect CNC machined parts and ensure they meet customer specifications and industry standards. The role emphasizes interpreting drawings, using precision instruments, and maintaining detailed quality records.

The candidate should have 2+ years of CNC QC experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficiency with calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. Mandarin skills are a plus in our Taiwan-headquartered organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QC experience in a CNC machining environment.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Proficient with precision inspection tools and basic CMM use.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems is a plus.
• Mandarin speaking preferred (headquarters in Taiwan).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections of CNC machined components.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain detailed quality records.
• Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Support production teams in understanding quality standards and requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.

• The QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting machined parts to ensure they

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections of CNC machined
• components
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges,
• CMM, etc.)
• Document inspection results and maintain detailed quality records
• Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective
• actions
• Support production teams in understanding quality standards and requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized inspection area

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in quality or machining
• preferred
