Primoris Pipeline is seeking a QC Inspector to ensure materials and construction projects meet established quality standards and specifications. You will perform visual and dimensional inspections, interpret drawings, and document findings to support project quality across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in quality control or inspection in construction/oil & gas/heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry codes (ASME, API, AWS, NDE).
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency with inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, visual aids).
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process inspections across civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
• Interpret engineering drawings and quality control plans to inspection activities.

The QC Inspector at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for ensuring that construction projects and materials meet established quality standards and specifications. This role involves meticulous inspection, documentation, and communication to uphold the highest levels of quality control across various construction disciplines.

Job Responsibilities:**

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of materials, components, and completed work to verify compliance with project drawings, specifications, and industry codes.
• Conduct in-process inspections at various stages of construction, including civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation.
• Interpret and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and quality control plans to inspection activities.
• Document inspection findings accurately and thoroughly, including non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventative measures.
• Generate detailed inspection reports, daily logs, and other required quality documentation.
• Monitor and verify the implementation of corrective actions for identified deficiencies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and craft personnel to address quality issues and promote a culture of quality.
• Witness and verify testing procedures (e.g., pressure testing, welding inspections, coating inspections) as required.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and company policies during inspection activities.
• Assist in the development and improvement of quality control procedures and processes.

Job Qualifications:**

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical certification in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality control or inspection within the construction, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AWS, NDE).
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and technical documents.
• Proficiency in using various inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, visual inspection aids).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS CWI, NDE Level II, API certifications) are highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
