Job summary

GSK is seeking an Operational Quality Specialist in Quality Control at the Marietta site. You will oversee QC SOPs, methods, CAPAs, and Change Controls to ensure product quality and patient safety. Collaborate with production, labs, engineering and QA to drive a strong quality culture and effective problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or related scientific discipline.
• 2+ years of quality control experience and experience overseeing quality control testing.
• Hands-on experience with analytical lab equipment/systems (HPLC, GC-MS, TOC, FTIR, ELISA).

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to QC related quality system activities and resolve/ elevate concerns (Deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls, Validation, Analytical Method Transfers, Risk Assessment, PQRs).
• Provide on-the-floor QA support and perform QA Operations activities (documentation review, logbook review).
• Responsible for release of rooms after Return to Service testing and for status changes of lab areas due to maintenance or unplanned events.
