Job summary

GFS Chemicals, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a QC Chemist to join our RAC Division at Powell.

The QC Chemist will perform quality control product testing, maintain accurate batch/lot records, and assure products meet specifications set by the ACS (or other relevant Consensus Methods Committees), the company, and its customers. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced lab, and experience with basic instrumental analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Biology, or Chemistry preferred.
• 0-2 years’ experience in analytical testing or QC is required.

Responsibilities

• Support internal safety, quality and regulatory audits, including preparation of records and follow-ups.
• Analyze samples according to testing methods and specifications.
• Perform basic calibrations on equipment.
• Maintain and clean laboratory and equipment.
• Record results on QC worksheets and enter data into ERP system.
• Observe quality compliance in plant activities.
• Adhere to ISO and GMP regulations.
