Job summary

SOFIE in Somerset, NJ seeks a Quality Control (QC) / Production Associate I (Chemist) to operate radiosynthesizers for drug product production and run analytical QC equipment.

The role requires ensuring materials are within expiry, validating equipment qualification, maintaining cGMP documentation, and supporting inventory and investigations in a fast-paced, highly technical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate's degree in chemistry, engineering, or natural sciences preferred.
• Technical experience with computer-controlled automation preferred.
• Efficient in the use of MS Office Suite required.
• Ability to work various shifts and weekends required.
• Detail-oriented, accountable, patient, organized, and team-oriented in a fast-paced, highly technical environment required.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiosynthesizers for FDG and NaF production per SOPs.
• Operate QC equipment and ensure calibration/qualification prior to use.
• Complete cGMP documentation and participate in investigations, deviations, and CAPAs.
• Assist with inventory management and material acceptance per SOPs.
• Communicate with local and Network support resources to troubleshoot issues.
