Job summary

Piramal Pharma Solutions is seeking a QC Analyst II to join our GMP-compliant laboratory in the United States. The role focuses on routine analytical testing (GC, HPLC, UPLC) to support product release, stability studies, and method development with strong emphasis on data integrity and regulatory compliance.

You will prepare samples, operate instruments, process data, and collaborate with QA, Manufacturing, and R&D to ensure robust testing under GDP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology or related field with laboratory coursework.
• Minimum 2 years of laboratory experience, preferably GMP-regulated.
• Hands-on experience with wet chemistry, dissolution, FTIR, KF moisture, UV/Vis, titrations, pH, and related QC tests.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using GC, HPLC, UPLC and related systems.
• Prepare samples, standards, diluents, and mobile phases per SOPs.
• Set up instruments, calibrate, and perform system suitability checks.
• Process and interpret chromatographic data using software (e.g., Empower).
• Review chromatograms for peak integrity and compliance with SOPs.
• Document all analytical activities in notebooks, LIMS, and forms per GDP/regulatory standards.
• Investigate atypical results and root-cause analysis.
• Support method transfers, verifications, and validations.
• Maintain laboratory readiness and proper labeling of reagents.
