Job summary

Boulder Scientific Company in Mead, CO is seeking a QC Chemist I for a day shift (6:00am–6:30pm) with potential night shift after training. This hourly, 12-hour shift offers overtime and shift differential. Responsibilities include analytical testing, data review, and batch records analysis in a controlled environment.

A Bachelor's degree in Science with 0–3 years' experience is required; glove boxes and QC experience are a plus. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and a bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science with zero to three years of industrial experience.
• Basic wet chemistry experience.
• Experience running experiments in safe manner with proper PPE.
• Experience reviewing data.
• Experience working in controlled environments and glove boxes preferred.
• Quality control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs analytical tests with the guidance of an experienced or Lead Chemist.
• Focuses on final testing, but also performs in-process testing with guidance within 3 months of start.
• Follows work instructions and test methods for product testing under supervision.
• Consults batch records and developmental test methods for pilot plant testing.
• Prepares laboratory standards and reagents.
• Performs analyses safely and participates in safety improvements.
• Performs instrument validations and maintenance with guidance of Instrument Support Technician.
