Job summary

Lonza is seeking a QC Analyst II in Portsmouth, NH to perform microbiological testing supporting in-process, lot release, and stability programs within a GMP-regulated laboratory.

You will collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and site teams, review results for accuracy, and maintain strict compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. The role includes weekend Pay differential and a 10-hour schedule Sunday to Wednesday.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality control laboratory or GMP-regulated setting.
• Proven ability to work with microbiological testing techniques and standard procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to SOPs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform microbiological testing to support in-process, lot release, and stability programs.
• Support environmental monitoring, utility and cleanroom testing activities.
• Review lab results for data accuracy and compliance.
• Document activities using LIMS/GMP documentation practices.
• Investigate atypical results and assist with corrective actions.
