Job summary

Kelly Science is seeking an Analyst II, QC Chemistry to join a quality control lab supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing. The role conducts analytical testing, maintains equipment, and supports investigations while ensuring cGxP compliance.

This contract-to-hire position operates on the night shift: Four 10-hour shifts, 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, in West Chester, OH.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Perform analytical testing on samples including finished products, raw materials, stability, in-process, and water samples.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
  • Support laboratory investigations and assist with resolving deviations or out-of-specification results.
  • Execute laboratory protocols to support validation, method development, and method transfer activities.
  • Review QC data to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist with updates to laboratory methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement in laboratory processes.
  • Work collaboratively with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and manufacturing teams.
  • Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials according to established safety procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with cGxP requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Support environmental monitoring activities as needed, including data review and sample collection within manufacturing areas.

Analyst II, QC Chemistry (Contract-to-Hire)

Hourly Pay Rate: $32-$34

Kelly Science is seeking an Analyst II, QC Chemistry to join a quality control laboratory supporting pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for performing analytical testing, maintaining laboratory equipment, supporting investigations, and ensuring compliance with cGxP and quality standards.

This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with an opening only on night shift.

Night Shift

Four 10 hour shifts, Monday-Thursday

6:00 PM – 4:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analytical testing on samples including finished products, raw materials, stability, in-process, and water samples

Qualifications

Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related scientific field
  • Prior QC laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Experience with analytical instrumentation such as HPLC
