Job summary

Tolmar is seeking a QC Analyst II for the onsite 2nd shift (Tuesday - Saturday) based in Windsor, CO. The role focuses on routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in a cGMP environment, with emphasis on documentation and instrument maintenance.

You will analyze samples using established methods, train junior staff, and support method transfers and quality improvements while adhering to safety and waste procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in scientific discipline, preferably in Chemistry or Biochemistry.
• Two or more years of experience in an analytical laboratory position.
• Knowledge of cGMP, GLP, ICH and their application to lab testing.
• Ability to use and maintain analytical instrumentation.
• Document activities and maintain records per good documentation practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses on samples using intermediate preparation techniques and analysis methods.
• Train junior analysts in analysis methods and lab techniques.
• Document all activities and maintain records according to good documentation practices.
• Maintain instrumentation and perform method transfers.
• Provide detailed accounts of testing and assist with method transfer investigations.
