Job summary

CSL Behring in Illinois - Kankakee site seeks a QC Sampler to perform sampling of environmental, utility monitoring, and related tests in accordance with cGMP and CSL/Compendial methods. You will document results in LIMS, maintain accurate records, and support the QC Sampling Team under supervision.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team are essential. BS/BA in science and 0–2 years lab experience preferred; proficiency in MS Office and QC data systems is

• BS/BA related science (Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry)
• 0-2 years lab experience
• Knowledge of cGMP standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QC systems

Responsibilities

• Sampling/collecting of all routine Environmental and Utility Monitoring samples for the site.
• Maintains accurate, complete, legible and concurrent records of work performed and enters results in the LIMS system.
• Under general supervision, carries out production-related tests and inspections to control quality.
• Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintains compliance to current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulatory guidelines.
• Follows schedules and meets deadlines.
• Communicates aberrant results to laboratory supervision immediately.
• Demonstrates a working knowledge of the LIMS computer system. Enters data and results into the system.
• Gains an awareness of cGMP and maintains compliance with these regulations.
• Follows company and departmental policies.
• Completes other duties as assigned by Laboratory Management.
• Maintains clean and safe working area and equipment.

Job description

Performs required sampling (environmental, water, compressed air, and nitrogen) in accordance with CSL/Compendial methods and properly documents in appropriate records and LIMS systems.

Reports to: Group Lead or Team Lead

Responsibilities:

Position is in the QC Sample Management Group – QC Sampling Team

• Sampling/collecting of all routine Environmental and Utility Monitoring samples for the site.

The expected wage range for this position at hiring is $24.04/hour - $29.81/hour. Please note this wage range reflects what CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base pay for a successful candidate within this range is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors.
