Huntington National Bank is seeking a QA Testing Analyst Lead for the IT Commercial Technology group. The role focuses on manual testing and acting as project test lead for multiple initiatives affecting Commercial Operations systems.

The candidate will plan, coordinate, and execute test strategies, with emphasis on ETL testing in Snowflake/AWS environments and UAT coordination with business teams. Office-based in Cincinnati, OH, with a chance to grow into automation efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (required).
• 5+ years of ETL testing experience in a data warehouse environment.
• 3+ years of Snowflake and AWS experience.
• 3+ years of leading QA Analysts on projects.
• 2+ years of test automation experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead QA efforts for data ingestion, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse transformations across environments.
• Perform manual ETL testing, validate mappings, transformations, lineage, and data integrity.
• Execute SQL-based data validation for large datasets and high-volume batches.
• Coordinate UAT with business teams and translate tech issues for non-technical stakeholders.
• Contribute to early automation by building initial automated test cases.
• Document test plans, cases, results, and evidence in Azure DevOps.
• Provide daily/weekly QA status updates and lead defect triage sessions.
• Lead and mentor QA Analysts (onshore/offshore) and govern QA practices.

Job Summary: The QA Testing Analyst Lead role for the IT Commercial Technology group, will be responsible for manual testing and act as project test lead for multiple projects. This includes planning and coordinating the testing as well as creating and executing test strategy documents for projects impacting systems in the Commercial Operations areas.

Description Job Summary: The QA Testing Analyst Lead role for the IT Commercial Technology group, will be responsible for manual testing and act as project test lead for multiple projects. This includes planning and coordinating the testing as well as creating and executing test strategy documents for projects impacting systems in the Commercial Operations areas. This role requires experience in Extraction, Transform, Load Testing (ETL). Incumbent will be responsible for multiple, concurrent testing efforts as needed. Coordination with project resources is critical (test analysts, project managers and business SME's will be key).

Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts for data ingestion, ETL pipelines, and data warehouse transformations across staging, integration, and Snowflake environments.
• Perform manual ETL testing, validating source-to-target mappings, transformation logic, lineage, reconciliation, and system balancing controls to ensure data completeness and integrity.
• Execute SQL-based data validation for large datasets and high-volume batch processes; analyze and troubleshoot data issues and source-to-target mismatches.
• Coordinate UAT activities with business teams, including planning, execution support, and translating technical data issues into clear, business-friendly language.
• Contribute to early automation by building initial automated test cases and identifying repetitive validation scenarios suitable for automation.
• Document test plans, test cases, results, and evidence in Azure DevOps, maintaining accurate source-to-target mapping spreadsheets.
• Provide clear daily/weekly QA status updates and lead defect triage sessions to ensure timely resolution.
• Lead and mentor QA Analysts (onshore/offshore), set QA strategy, manage priorities across projects, and ensure consistent application of QA best practices.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of ETL testing experience in data warehouse environment
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake and AWS
• 3+ years of experience leading QA Analysts on a project team
• 2+ years of test automation experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services or banking
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts (star/snowflake schema, data lineage, transformations)
• Familiarity with automation tools/frameworks (PyTest, Cucumber, Selenium, DBT tests)
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills

Compensation Range

$70,000- $140,000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
