Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. is seeking a seasoned QA Tester for the DC Department application project. The role involves testing the DMV application to ensure safety, reliability, and user-friendly experiences for residents, businesses, and visitors.

You will review requirements, write test cases, execute manual and automated tests, develop defects in Jira, and collaborate with developers in an Agile team while adhering to DC Government security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software testing / QA.
• Experience with test case management and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, ACCELQ).
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Must worked with version control.
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies,plans, and test cases (functional, automation, integration, regression).
• Execute manual and automatedtests, track defects, ensure resolution with proper documentation.
• Automate test cases usingtest automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Selenium, ACCELQ etc.).
• Collaborate with developersand business analysts to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform cross-browser,usability testing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Document test results, maintain test artifacts.
• Use defect tracking tools JIRA and manage defect lifecycle.
• Ensure and follow all DC Government security standards.
