Job summary

Oorwin AI is seeking a Software QA professional in Atlanta to design robust test cases and validate interfaces across Angular frontend and Java microservices. You will craft end-to-end test plans, manage XRAY/Jira traceability, and focus on comprehensive documentation while performing selective exploratory testing.

The role emphasizes test strategy, collaboration with product and development teams, and Kofax automation testing to ensure accurate data extraction and workflow routing.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of software quality assurance experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience testing web applications built with Angular (frontend) and Java (backend/microservices).
• Designed test cases for API integrations and end-to-end interface testing.
• Hands-on testing with Kofax capture and document automation solutions.
• Proficient with Jira for tracking and requirements alignment and XRAY for test management.

Responsibilities

• Test Case Authoring: Design, write, and maintain comprehensive, clear, and reusable test cases, scenarios, and test plans based on business requirements, system specifications, and integration flows.
• Interface & Integration Testing: Author detailed test cases covering end-to-end interface testing, API integrations, data exchanges, and communication channels between system components.
• Kofax Testing: Design specialized test scenarios for Kofax capture, transformation, and document processing solutions, ensuring seamless data extraction, validation, and workflow routing.
• Requirements Analysis: Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand feature requirements and identify edge cases early in the development lifecycle.
• Test Management: Organize, structure, and maintain all testing documentation and traceability matrices using XRAY and Jira.
• Minimal Execution: Perform exploratory or targeted validation only when strictly necessary, focusing the vast majority of your effort on robust test strategy and documentation.

• Proficiency in XRAY for test case management, execution mapping, and requirements traceability.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to review technical specifications, API payloads, and component interactions to craft precise, high-value test cases.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to articulate complex test scenarios clearly to developers and stakeholders.
