About this Position

We’re looking for a QA Tester to join our Software Engineering department. Your work will be critical to timely delivery of projects and you will be a major contributor to the quality and experience of ProdataKey’s products used by hundreds of thousands of people each day.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the creation and execution of test cases for PDK’s applications including web and other components.
• Maintain and rewrite existing test suites.
• Work with a broad range of innovative hardware and software technologies in the physical security industry.
• Handle customer cases escalated to engineering and interact with support technicians to troubleshoot customer problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in computer science, computer engineering, information systems or a related field.
• 2+ years experience in quality assurance.
• Ability to easily adapt to unfamiliar development environments.
• Understanding of testing process, test types, test design and testing methodologies.
• Ability to observe and communicate details.
• Ability to work independently with some supervision.
• Ability to clearly write bug reports and follow retesting procedures.
• Familiar with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with REST services and able to use Postman.
• Familiar with remote login, SSH, and Linux tools.
• Familiar with test management tools like Zephyr Scale.
• Strong command of the English language and the ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
