Agile5 Technologies, Inc. is seeking a QA & Test Engineer in Washington, DC to lead quality assurance, automated data reconciliation testing, and Section 508 accessibility compliance for enterprise software and data lakehouse modernization initiatives.

The role involves authoring comprehensive test plans, leading TRRs/PRRs with government stakeholders, and ensuring production readiness through automated and manual testing techniques. DHS Section 508 and ISTQB/CSTE certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Experience with automated test development and execution tools and SQL-based data validation.
• Knowledge of Section 508 standards and WCAG 2.1 AA criteria; automated accessibility tools like axe, WAVE, Lighthouse.
• Experience authoring formal test plans, test cases, and test completion reports in Agile environments using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with testing data platforms, data warehouses, or Databricks/Spark environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive Test Plans covering developmental, functional, limited user, high availability/failover, and operational testing.
• Lead Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and present results at Production Readiness Reviews (PRR) with government stakeholders.
• Design, build, and execute automated data reconciliation test scripts validating migration accuracy.
• Perform Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility testing using automated tools and manual techniques.
• Author formal test deliverables including Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and VPATs.
• Conduct usability testing with end users and validate system performance under realistic workloads.
• Track defects and manage testing workflows using enterprise test management platforms.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to project documentation.
