Job Overview:

The QA Test Engineer will be responsible for both automated and manual testing of assigned projects, supporting various entities. This role involves reviewing requirements, writing and updating test cases, troubleshooting defects, and analyzing test results. The position requires testing multiple mobile devices and reporting status to the Test Lead and Test Manager. Additionally, the QA Test Engineer will act as a sub-lead for specific functional areas of a project or multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Review requirements and write, update test cases, troubleshoot defects, and analyze test results.
  • Execute test cases, log defects, triage defects, and test multiple mobile devices.
  • Report status to Test Lead and Test Manager.
  • Act as sub-lead for specific functional areas of a project or multiple concurrent projects.
  • Participate in test planning and testing activities on multiple devices for multiple projects.
  • Perform testing tasks such as reviewing requirements, analyzing requirements, determining testing needs, writing and reviewing test cases, running test cases, troubleshooting, logging and regressing defects, and analyzing test results.
  • Provide escalation support for team members and work closely with project stakeholders.
  • Verify device performance against existing and proposed device features and applications.
  • Develop and implement a holistic testing strategy for Network Services Testing for major technology introductions and business initiatives.
  • Conduct Network Services testing, including testing various network call flows for VoLTE, 5G, and future technologies, and pulling RadComm traces.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, UX teams, and vendors to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and align on acceptance.
  • Utilize automation and scripting tools such as Python, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, and Playwright.

Qualifications:
  • Strong results-oriented individual with a demonstrated ability to effectively execute and manage testing efforts.
  • Experience in documenting results and presenting findings as required.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting tools, including Python, Selenium, Appium, Cypress, and Playwright.
  • Ability to test various network call flows for VoLTE, 5G, and future technologies.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work with developers, product managers, UX teams, and vendors.
  • Local candidates in Atlanta, GA preferred, as the position is on-site 5 days/week.

Pay Range:$55hr- $60hr on w2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
