Job summary

Atlantic Cheesecake Company, a Dessert Holdings subsidiary, seeks a Quality Assurance Technician in Kennesaw, GA. You will conduct quality and food safety inspections, support production, and maintain inspection readiness.

Requires High School Diploma, 1-3 years QA/food safety experience, GMP/HACCP knowledge, ability to work independently and in a team; bilingual Spanish preferred; onsite swing shift. Starting pay at $18.00/hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of quality assurance, food manufacturing, or food safety experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety programs preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office proficiency required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality and food safety inspections throughout the facility.
• Verify sanitation effectiveness using ATP testing and environmental monitoring.
• Monitor temperatures, production records, and food safety documentation.
• Perform allergen and environmental swabbing as required.
• Calibrate equipment including scales and thermometers.
• Conduct GMP, sanitation, and food safety audits.
• Perform pre-operational inspections and production quality checks.
• Ensure products are properly labeled, stored, and handled.
• Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist in maintaining audit and inspection readiness.
