Michael Foods, Inc. located in Gaylord, Minnesota is Minnesota's Healthy Heartland! Gaylord is located in south central Minnesota about an hour west of the Twin Cities and 35 minutes from Mankato, Hutchinson, and New Ulm. As the County Seat, Gaylord is the "Hub of Sibley County." Our location produces liquid egg, hardcook egg, and precooked egg such as scrambled, patties and omelets.
Shift: 6:00PM- 6:00AM - 12 hour night shifts.
Shiftdifferential: $2.50/hour
POSITION SUMMARY: This position is responsible for maintaining inspection logs and performing several different tests to guarantee only the highest quality product is being produced. This position has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules at all times as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety & Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, in an effort to reduce product and process variability.

EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:

The pay range for this position is $20.91 to $24.99 per hour. EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw andinterpret bar graphs. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, ordiagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardizedsituations. Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance. Ability to eat eggs to perform identity testing by using organoleptic skills (odor, taste,appearance). Ability to follow and comply with company GMP policies. PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent. One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educationand experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment.
